To clear a read-later pile, make one quick decision per link and give every link a place to go. In Linkpoche, new links stack up in the Inbox, and one swipe sends the top link into a pouch, to Read later, or away. For you, a Home Screen widget, and reminders then bring links back, so putting a link away does not mean losing it.
Why does a read-later list keep growing?
Saving a link takes a second. Deciding what to do with it takes longer, so the decision waits. After a few weeks the list is long enough that opening it feels like work, and new links go on top of old ones.
A pile shrinks when each decision is small and each link has somewhere to land. That is what the Inbox and pouches are for.
How to sort your Inbox with one swipe
- Open Linkpoche. Links you shared from other apps wait in the Inbox, stacked.
- Look at the top link. You see its title and picture, and articles show a read time.
- Flick it down into a pouch. Your pouches sit along the bottom, within reach of your thumb, and the pouch it is aimed at lights up.
- Swipe right for Read later if you want to read it soon. Swipe left to delete it.
- If you change your mind, Undo stays up for 6 seconds. Recently Deleted keeps your last 50 deleted links, pictures included.
You can change what each swipe does in Settings. With VoiceOver, tap a pouch to put the top link in it.
How should I set up pouches?
Set up pouches to match how you will look for a link later.
- You can make up to 8 pouches free, four to a row along the bottom. Start with the topics you save most.
- Each pouch can hold pouches inside, so a Travel pouch can hold one pouch per trip. Pouches inside pouches do not count toward the 8.
- Give each a name, a color, and an icon. A pouch you can spot at a glance is quicker to aim at. Linkpoche Plus, an optional one-time purchase, adds up to 24 pouches, more colors and patterns, and your own photo or a new icon.
How do saved links come back?
A sorted link is only useful if you see it again. Linkpoche brings links back in three ways.
- For you shows up to 10 links from your pouches each day, and they stay until the next day.
- The Linkpoche widget, small or medium, on iOS 17 or later, shows links from your Inbox, a new one every 30 minutes. When the Inbox is empty, it shows today’s For you links. Tap a For you link to open the page through Linkpoche.
- Reminders. Set a one-time reminder on any link, such as tonight or this weekend.
On iPhones with Apple Intelligence (see below), For you picks older links close to your recent saves.
Can Linkpoche sort the pile for me?
It can suggest, and you decide. On iPhone 15 Pro or later with iOS 26 or later and Apple Intelligence turned on, Linkpoche uses Apple’s on-device model:
- Open Sort for me. It suggests a pouch for each of up to 50 links.
- Change any suggestion you disagree with.
- Sort them in one go.
- If the result is not what you wanted, undo the batch.
While you swipe, Light up where it goes makes the pouch that seems to fit the top link glow. Nothing is filed for you.
The AI runs on your iPhone, and nothing is sent out for it. On other iPhones, Light up where it goes and Sort for me suggest the pouch you used before for the same site. Each AI feature can be turned off.
What helps me decide faster on each link?
- Articles get a read time. On supported iPhones they also get a two- or three-sentence summary, marked AI summary. Summaries may not be accurate.
- On other iPhones, articles show a read time and the page’s own description.
- Summaries and read times are for pages with article text, not posts, videos, or home pages.
How do I find a link after I put it away?
Search everything you saved, or one pouch, and filter by unread, read, or favorites. On iOS 17 or later, search also finds links close in meaning, so a few half-remembered words can be enough. In a pouch, sort by Recommended to put unread links you saved a while ago, from sites you often read, first. Saved links also show up in iPhone search.
