Download on the App Store

Linkpoche is a read-later app for iPhone: share a link or a screenshot from any app, then swipe it into a pouch. It was released on the App Store on October 1, 2026, by an independent developer in Japan. It is free to download, with an optional one-time in-app purchase, Linkpoche Plus. It has no account, no Linkpoche server, and no tracking, and it stores links on the iPhone.

One-sentence description

Linkpoche is a read-later app for iPhone that saves links and screenshots from any app’s Share button and lets you sort each one into a pouch with a single swipe.

100-word description

Linkpoche is a read-later app for iPhone. Tap Share in any app and choose Linkpoche; the link is saved and you stay where you were. Screenshots go in the same way and are read on the iPhone. Saved links wait in an Inbox, where one swipe puts the top link into a pouch, sends it to Read later, or deletes it. Search also finds links by meaning on iOS 17 or later, and For you shows up to 10 saved links each day. Saving is free and unlimited, with no account and no ads. Linkpoche Plus, a one-time purchase, adds locked and hidden pouches.

What Linkpoche does

  • Save from any app. Tap Share and choose Linkpoche. The share sheet closes and you stay where you were. Shortcuts has a Save Link action.
  • Save screenshots. Share up to 10 at a time, or tap + on Home. On the iPhone, Linkpoche reads text, QR codes, web addresses, phone numbers, and addresses, in Japanese and English. If it finds a web address, it saves the link and keeps the screenshot with it. Small or handwritten text can be missed.
  • Sort with one swipe. Flick the top link down into a pouch. Swipe left to delete, right for Read later, and change what each swipe does in Settings. Undo stays up for 6 seconds, and Recently Deleted keeps the last 50 deleted links.
  • Pouches. Up to 8 free, four to a row along the bottom of the Inbox, and each can hold pouches inside. Each gets a name, a color, and an icon.
  • Rediscovery and reminders. For you shows up to 10 links from your pouches each day. A Home Screen widget, small or medium, shows links from the Inbox, or today’s For you links when the Inbox is empty. A one-time reminder can be set on any link.
  • Search. Search all links or one pouch, including text read from screenshots. On iOS 17 or later, search also finds links close in meaning. Filter by unread, read, or favorites, or sort by Recommended. Saved links show up in iPhone search.
  • On-device AI. On supported iPhones: a two- or three-sentence AI summary for articles, a longer overview in the AI tab, Light up where it goes, Sort for me for up to 50 links, titles for screenshots, and For you picks close to recent saves. Summaries may not be accurate. On other iPhones, articles show a read time and the page’s own description, and pouch suggestions come from the pouch used before for the same site.
  • Linkpoche Plus. An optional one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. It adds locked pouches (Face ID, Touch ID, or the passcode to open), hidden pouches, up to 24 pouches, every color and 12 patterns, a photo or one of 16 new icons on a pouch, and reminders that repeat on chosen days. Anyone who can unlock the iPhone can open a locked pouch.

Privacy and network

When a link is saved, the iPhone fetches that page directly for its title, picture, description, icon, and article text. The text is used for the read time and summary, then discarded. For posts and videos on some services, such as X and YouTube, Linkpoche also asks that service’s public embed endpoint. Screenshots are read on the iPhone and not uploaded. For searching by meaning, iOS may download language files from Apple. Buying or restoring Linkpoche Plus goes through Apple’s App Store. The app has no analytics, no ads, and no tracking.

Limits

  • No sync between devices. Links move by an exported zip file or an iPhone backup. Import adds links and never overwrites.
  • Linkpoche keeps the address and preview, not a copy of the page. Opening a link needs a connection.
  • Linkpoche never signs in, so pages behind a login give little.
  • Import reads only Linkpoche backups. It cannot import a Pocket export.
